In a time without glasses..

Might as well upload a pic of my mother the same day I upload a pic of my sister.
I've made this entire costume. My mother was supposed to make it herself, but in the end, all she did was sew a few seams and sew on a few decorative edges (oh well). I styled the wig in an elaborate knot with a few loose curls, and I'm rather fond of the little hat, which is a bit hard to see due to the umbrella.
I designed it, but I don't really know what time it was supposed to be, if any at all. I just did something I liked and fitted my mother I didn't use any patterns, it's just made from stratch, which I think is most satisfactory!
As the title suggest, she normally wears glasses (as do I) but she left them off for a part of the day as it looked nicer without. That's why she might be looking a little weird!
We were a rather strange group: My friend and I were "Geisha's", both our mothers were something of the 19th century, my sister was Betty Boop and we had two cousins and an aunth in something fantasy-ish. At least we enjoyed ourself, and that's what matters!

(I now see the camera she holds is more out of place than the glasses would have XD)
