Yeah...

It's been a while since I last came here (and it has been more then three years ago since I last wrote a journal O.o) I told myself, at the beginning of 2009, I wanted to upload much more and rearrange everything here before the end of the year. Seems the year has almost ended already, much faster then I can believe XD But it's not over jet, I've got half a month left.
So I hope to update my pages somewhere in the Christmas Holiday. I believe I've got quite some pictures on my computer wanted to be put online. Let's grant them that wish for Christmas, shall we?

Yes, carrots indeed. But way carrots? Just because I like carrots. They taste nice and they look nice. Indeed, they look nice. Just because they are orange. Yes, orange. I LOVE orange. I know that it is the color of my country. I hate it in that way. But orange. Have you ever looked at that color? The way it is bold, they way there are so many shades of it, the way it is an mix between yellow and red. You just got to love orange!
And there are a few more ways I love orange. I have a very beautiful orange sweater, in a bit rusty-orange. It looks nice on me ^_^ And second of all, my hair. Yes, my hair. I was dying it, and it cost me over 2,5 hours (first a base color, and then a few lighter parts to make it more natural) People always think my natural haircolor is orange. But in fact it is blonde. I really don't like blonde, since I look like a white ghost with it, with innumerable freckles. Freckles are the only orange I hate. Everywhere I have freckles and everybody loves them ("Aw! Your freckles are so cute!") I hate them. I have a very large freckle at the top of my nose, and it just looks stupid -_-' But anyway, I dyed my hair in the evening. The next day I saw it in the sunlight (first sun we saw in a week) and my hair really looked orange (as in ORANGE). That evening I had a party, and I knew that my friend Laura (she supposed to be one of my best friend) was going to call me "Carrot" the whole evening. She did, but she liked it. And so we are back to carrots again. Yes, carrots indeed.

My holiday is going by in super speed! I only have two weeks left! And I don't even have the feeling that it is a holiday! I work to much, really. At noon I need to start again... And than I need to work at wednesday, and than only the saterdays. In my last week I'm not going to do anything! But wait... I need to make the patterns of my dress, I need to buy fabric, and that for my, my mothers and my sisters costume... O man... O_o And I need to buy a new coat, it is so cold here! I looks like it is autumn already! It is raining for 5 days non stop... I'm soaked when I come at my work... And than we need to work outside first, to get the plants and flowers on their place... I dont want to go!!!
But I need to brighten up a bit. Saterday I was with two collegeas and we were all feeling down... We sang 'Always look on bright side of live' the whole day, and it helped a bit. So maybe I need to sing it again! *looks outside* *sees nothing else than pouring rain* *looks inside* *sees the mess of her room and the blackets se is rolled in to get warm* Oh man, this is not working....

Anyway, I found this in Roae's journal, so I need to post it here to. And when you feel like answering, wich I doubt, try to brighten me up a bit, if you can...

Well, I know that I quite silent here, but that is because I was on holiday. First I went 4 days, 3 nights, with 6 of my friends on holiday (by bike O_o) First day we needed to cycle 80 km (I know, we're crazy). And, astonishing, I wasn't even tired! And that when I have a condition of 0.01 ^_^ So I was quite proud of myself. We'll do it over next year (maybe Great Brittain than, and by boat. That would be nice ^_^ Now I only need money -_-')
Two days after I had returned, I went on holiday with my parents and sister, to the Caribbean (Yohoho!) It was a flight of 9 hours and with 6 hours time difference. I was so tired, the first days! But it was so nice! We went to the Dominican Republic, to Puerto Plata. We have seen much and done much. It's a pity I didn't saw Depp as Jack Sparrow *sights and daydreams* But I made a 4 hours horse-riding tour. That was so much fun! But my parents and sister didn't want to come along, so I needed to speek English the whole time. Man, it is hard to explain about the way we have school in Holland and how university is going O_o. I believe they didn't understand anything, but just said it to get rid of me Whatever. They were boring anyway. But the horse was nice and it was very beautiful
I'm home now for 1,5 weeks and the only thing I did was working -_-' That is the negative side of a summerjob... I work at a flowers shop and it is really fun, with nice colleagues and stuff, but I miss my spare time... I allmost want to go to school again XD But school... I must go for 2 years at high school (witch dured 6 years) and than go to the university (witch will dure 4 or 5 years, depending on what kind of study I want). I mean, than I'm 50 when I finished school O_o !

So here I am. I'm a member half a month now, and I still don't get it all. I just found out I could write something here O_o. But I'm starting to understand it more and more
About me... My name is Esther and I live in Holland. On the moment I'm 16 and a half years. English is not my native language, so I don't spell it correct. I read books in English and I get normal to good marks for the subject, but that doesn't mean I'm a perfect English-writer But this site is good to make me better in English.
About my 'arts'... I believe I drew before I walked, so that's a long time. Usually I draw in manga/anime style, but sometimes I draw realistic also. I usually draw people. I do not have photoshop yet, so I just color with normal pencils. Sometimes I make some things at the computer also, in paint and word. I also make costumes, so once in a while you'll see a picture of a dress I've made.
I hope you all like my arts and I like to get critic (good and bad). Just look around and leave a message somewhere
